I’ve donated twice and am currently on my third donation. I will say I was very hesitant at first as I’m sure many new donors are but after meeting with Tara at first and hearing about her own personal experience I was really impressed by the amount of empathy and care given to me as a donor. The team is immensely communicative and has always made sure I am well taken care of so I can just purely focus on the donation without any additional stress. I’m now working with Miu who has been nothing but supportive. I actually just had my donor day and got stuck at the airport for an extra day (due to weather) and she was nothing but helpful in navigating me and ensuring I had a place to sleep, transportation and food to eat. Especially given it was very late at night I was so thankful to have Miu. If you’re thinking of donating it has been such a wonderful experience all around and fulfilling knowing that I get to help a family.
